Pumas host hot Cocoa on Saturday at International Polo
Cocoa has scored 11 goals the past 2 games

Wellington- Former Major League Soccer Striker “Sneaky” Pete Marino visits the Pumas this Saturday at the International Polo Club in Wellington, 5pm kickoff.  Marino is the Expos leading goal scorer with 6 goals and 3 assist totaling 15 points.  Says Coach Bobby Lennon, Pete is a veteran player that takes advantage of young defenders mistakes. He can score when you least expect it. He scored 2 goals against us when we beat them 4-3 last game. We know our defenders have to play very smart. We hope this proves to be a good measuring stick on our player development.”

Cocoa has won their last two games, 6-2 over Bradenton and 5-2 over Ajax Orlando.  Cocoa are currently the hottest team in the division and the Pumas expect it to be their toughest game of the season.  Lennon added, “If our players are on the same page and play a smart game then I think we can beat Cocoa or anyone else in the division. Anything less, then we’re asking to give games away. Our character, integrity and discipline will be tested for the remainder of the season”.

Cocoa plays Ajax Orlando on Friday night before visiting the Pumas. If Cocoa wins on Friday then they will come into Palm Beach on Saturday tied for third place with the Pumas.
