The pumas traveled to Nashville, TN to face the Nashville Metros. The new faces of the Pumas were not in sync early as the Metros raced to a 1-0 lead in the first half. This score-line held up till halftime. In the second half, the Metros went further ahead scoring two goals in quick succession, against the run of play. From this point, the Pumas responded by showing great character, determination and flair, scoring two goals and threatening to mount a monumental comeback. The pumas kept plugging away with skillful play through midfield and upfront; however, the Metros managed to get a fourth goal ending the comeback attempt. The final score-line, 4-2 did not reflect how close the game really was.
The Pumas will be in action again on Sunday, 13th May away to Central Florida Kraze at the Seminole Soccer Complex.
