Palm Beach County- For the second year the Pumas Youth Soccer Academy is conducting youth outreach camps throughout Palm Beach County. The purpose of the camps is to introduce soccer to children who cannot afford to play in local youth soccer leagues.  The Pumas staff will identify both girls and boys that have the enthusiasm or ability to become members of the Academy’s after school soccer programs.

The Academy is operating camps in:

  • Lake Park
  • Riviera Beach
  • West Palm Beach
  • Lake Worth
  • Lantana
  • Boynton Beach

  • Delray Beach
  • Belle Glade
  • Pahokee

The Camps are coordinated and supervised by the Pumas coaching staff. The Pumas PDL players conduct the training sessions on a daily basis. After the second week of camps children that want to take soccer to a higher level will be offered advanced development training throughout the summer to prepare for this fall’s after school season.

The Puma’s Youth Soccer Academy mission is to use soccer as a vehicle to help develop young people. The program also offers Academic & Social Service Assistance, Life Skills, Diversity Education, Parent/Family Participation, Florida Environment and cultural activities.

The Pumas will measure their success of development depending how many of their members successfully graduate from high school and college and are productive adult citizens that give back to the community.
